    My name is Courtney Butler, and I am starting my last year here at SIUC as a major in psychology with a minor in sociology. I just returned from spending three months in Ireland with my sister, where we traveled to different organic farms/gardens to work on the land in exchange for food and accommodation. It was a lovely experience, and I never want to stop traveling now. My interests include photography, sewing, reading, and watching films. Once I graduate with my Bachelor's degree, I intend to go on to graduate school to pursue a doctorate degree in psychology. I would like to focus on child psychology because my heart lies with children who have been traumatized in their lives, either in the inner-city of American cities or in poverty-stricken areas of other countries. I am interested in meeting new people, so I look forward to this class and the people in it.

    Hi my name is Mercedes Dunn, this is my second year at SIUC. I am currently majoring in pre-dental/bio science. I am also on the SIUC Women's Track and Field Team, I do the Long Jump and Triple Jump. I would like to continue on to Dental School and become an Orthodontist! I look foward to taking this class!

    My name is Courtney Strieker. I am a sophomore and a Presidential Scholar. I am a Pre-med Physiology major. When I finally get out of school, I hope to work with children with cancer. I am from Breese, IL. I love volleyball, animals, and I plan on joining the skydiving club this fall.

    I am currently working towards a degree in elementary education. After obtaining my first degree, I would like to get my masters in education administration. I enjoy sports, laughing, and watching movies. In the future I hope to not only officially get into this class, but to teach for about 5 years, then become a principal.

    i am wister coleman i am a jr. at siuc i live live in the south subs of chicago. i love to play basketball and like to get new things and hanging out with my brothers and friends.i love to be with my family. i have two brothers and cousin who lives with me. my major is pre-med. i would like to be a radiologist. i think it would be very interesting to me. i want to work in the medical field because i like to help people and help save lives. that is mostly all that sums me up.

    Hello.. I'm Chris and I'm from Buffalo Grove, IL and I'm majoring in management. I transfered into SIUC last year, so this is my fourth year in college, and second year here. After I graduate SIUC, I plan to go to graduate school and then see where that takes me. I'm not 100% on where I want to end up and what I want to do.. we shale see. I enjoy going to concerts, riding my bike and just hanging out with my friends doing nothing.. I try to be a little active in the CoBA so I'm a member of PSE and FMA.

    My name is Alex Bassett. I am from Belleville, IL,which is about 20 minutes outside of St. Louis. I am a Finance major in the college of business and I plan to become an investment banker. I enjoy playing sports, lifting weights, and hunting and fishing.

    Hey my name is Patrick Scheil and I am a senior here at SIU and i am a member of the golf team. I am from Williamsburg, VA and have been in Illinois for 3 years now. I went to John A Logan for my first 2 years of school where I also played on the golf team. I am a recreation major and i enjoy the program very much. To be specific i am a commercial rec major which deals with the business side of recreation. I am an outgoing person and i look forward to meeting everyone in this class.

    Hello my name is Kyle Doran and I am studying business finance here at SIUC. I have two older brothers and one of them attended SIUC and the other attended ISU. My oldest brother majored in business and is living the life in Wrigleyville. I can't wait to finish up at school and move to Chicago. I love the atmosphere of Chicago and can't wait to move out near wrigly field.

    Hey, my name is Brandon Goeke, I am majoring in Financial Institutions and will be graduating this spring. When I am not in school I enjoying being outside. Fishing is the biggest hobby that I have, but i also love to hunt and swim. With my degree I hope to find a job at a bank that is close to my home town.

    My name is Julianne Jacquot I prefer to just go by Julie. I am a junior here at siu and my major is accounting. After I graduate I plan on going back one more year to become a CPA. I waitress at a japanese restaurant here in carbondale and I have been working for a CPA for about three years now. I am from Murphysboro so unlike many students who attend SIU I am from this area. I moved to St. Louis my freshmen year and had already transferred back by the begginning of my first semester.

    I am Cameron Krones. I am a Junior at SIUC and am in the Mass Communications department. The major that I am trying to obtain is Radio/ Televison,(RT) and my minor is Public Relations. I am from Carterville, Il but I live in an apartment here in Carbondale. I am in the Delta Chi Fraternity and am loving it. I work for Media Services, which is part of the athletic department at SIUC. I have two siblings, a brother and sister. Both of them attend college at Murray State University.

    I'm into long walks on the beach, the mountains, the ocean... Really though, I enjoy these so much I am in my final semester of a double major in Outdoor Recreation and Therapeutic Rec.

    Hi, I'm a veteran from the U.S. Coast Guard. I was an electrician for 18 extraordinary years. One day I lifted a very heavy metal beam and fractured my back, I had it repaired, and I am "back" into good shape. Now I am learning a less physical occupation of Recreation Administration. I live south on Hwy 51 on a 10 acre lot (at the PEACE sign). I have 4 fire rings for activities like expanding my sub-consciousness for Eng-290 papers. Chao, Carl

    Hi, my name is Michele Guy! I am a Computer Science major with Business and this is my second year at SIUC. I am a senior this year. As well, when i graduate with my Bachelor's degree I plan to join the Air Force as an officer and apply what I have learned in college to a military career. Hobbies of mine are running, working out, working at Hollister, and being a member of the Tennis Club. :o)

    My name is Scott Carpenter and i am a junior this year. this is only my second year here at SIUC. I attended one year junior college before transferring here. Administration of Justice is my major, with a minor in History, and after i graduate i plan on becoming a police officer. I am not sure if i want to become a city cop, or a state cop. On my free time i like to hunt, and ride four wheelers. I plan on becoming a police officer, because i want to be able to help people.

    My name is Clayton Sheehan, I am a senior at Southern Illinois University of Carbondale. I am currently working for my bachelors degree in Recreation in Leisure Services, specializing in the outdoor field. The reason I picked this major is because of my love for the outdoors, and rock climbing. The career field that I am wanting to go into is more of adventure education based. I love getting people out of their element and teaching them new things. After graduating I plan to move out west and gain experience in the different high adventure skills; such as climbing, rafting, kayaking, mountaineering, etc..

    My name is Korey Lindsey, I am a student-athlete here at SIUC. I am a junior in the classroom and pursuing a Recreation degree. I have many different hobbies and interests that i enjoy doing. My favorite color is gray, love to eat gumbo, and enjoy spending time with family and friends. Im always looking toward the bigger and finer things in life thats why i strive in college. Im from Baton Rouge, Louisiana home of Hurricane Katrina but besides im enjoying the whole college experience while being away from home. I look forward to what I will be able to learn from this class. God Bless!
